Would Jarrel "Big Baby" Miller make a better American heavyweight champ than Wilder?

sure...that's fine if Miller was fighting back then but we're talking about now. right now...in comparison to everything right now atm, Miller could be a champion, imo. If Wilder can get away with the awful title defenses he's had, I'm sure Miller can...but with more personality. which is a promoter's dream.

I don't think Miller beats any of the current title holders. Maybe he can pick up the WBA regular belt.

Even if he did pick up an easy title like Wilder did, beating a string of nobodies won't make Miller a star. As I said before he'd need to back up that mouth with some decent wins to cross over and become a star. People aren't idiots, talk will get you so far but if you want fans to take you seriously and shell out their hard earned cash you have to give them fights they want. Half of Wilder's problem is he hasn't fought a top fighter, Miller repeating that wouldn't do him any favours in regards to popularity.

Jarrell Miller turned pro eight months after Wilder did.

He's had 20 fewer fights. 20 fewer knockouts. He's never challenged for a world title. He has no title defenses.

He's three inches shorter. About 70 pounds heavier. Doesn't hit as hard. And most people have never seen him fight.

HOW ON EARTH you consider him to have MORE POTENTIAL is beyond me. If he had more potential, he'd have surpassed Wilder by now. He's had nearly eight years to pass Wilder by already.

Well, Wilder is too frightened to face Miller. That makes him better by default.

Excellent point. Miller has been around for ages and only now has stepped it up and beat a guy coming off a loss as his best win. If Miller was going to be a star he would already be one.

I think he's just as ridiculous as Wilder, didn't he say he wouldn't fight AJ in UK or something?
Not impressed by him at all but we'll see. He reminds me of a dillian Whyte, Only getting the fights and attention due to their personality rather than their skill

Anyone who's more willing to face top opponents would make a better american HW champ. So yes. End of thread.
