Would JMM have beaten the 140 lb and up guys Manny beat

It really isn't fair on Marquez to keep matching him up with guys who are so naturally larger than him.He has Pacquaio's style closed down superbly but that would be the exception.Guys who are far less skilled than JMM or Pac would make the weight tell and it's no reflection on JMM.Morales is the only fight he should take at 140 or anyone else who's best weight was way south of 140.
The guy's a natural feather for **** sake.Most of these guys will walk around at 12 stone!
I've no doubt he'd trouble and maybe beat Hatton but these 140+ match ups are nonsense.He is a fabulous fighter but he will never ever be a physical force at 140 and shouldn't be expected to.

IMO they all beat JMM, JMM wont have the power or speed to really give them trouble and trump their size advantage.

Katsidis and Juan Diaz who are able to cut off the ring and use that swarm style gave JMM hell, Hatton, Margo & Cotto would do it a lot worse. Clottey went on a shell because he didnt like the power, I think he'll push JMM more. JMM-Oscar would be a close fight, Pac beat him with those angles and speed, not JMM's style.

There's a reason why JMM chose to stay and fight at LW and even fought Juan Diaz twice, instead of making much more money at the higher divisions.

Much like Norton arguably beat Ali 3x, he also got annihilated by Foreman & Shavers inside 2 rounds.
