Calzaghe's gonna have Hopkins. Hopkins is a bit too old now to cope with the sheer amount of punches that will come his way.

Joe is gonna beat Hopkins, not because Hopkins is too old but simply because Joe is just simply better. Where age has caught up with BHop, he has also made up for it in his increased ring smart/experience and skills. A prime BHop is hard to pinpoint because he was constantly improving.

no, calzhage slaps too much with his punches, hopkins has too solid of a defense and is very good at sly dirty tactics, plus hopkind despite his age disadvantage is talller and has less dificulty making weight

Prime for Prime? Yes, competitive of course, but very clear.

He's simply just a better fighter than Hopkins could have ever been.

Calzaghe will win this easier than people may expect. joe is stronger and more relentless. I am so confident of this, that I have made a bet on here that if BHop wins, I will leave the forum for good.:good

Hopkins is too old to beat Calzaghe at this point, if it was 01, I wouldnt even have to think about it. I think we as fans must look for in this fight, is how close the fight turns out, if Calzaghe wins by a close decision, I think it would be safe to say a prime Hopkins would of beat Calzaghe, now if he gets blown, which I doubt, then maybe we should finally consider Calzaghe a great fighter, not just a good fighter who fought weak competition most of his career.
