Well from the fighters they fought after moving up from MW to SMW, yes he would beat them all in my opinion.

If Michael Watson weighed 8 pounds heavier, he'd give Joe is toughest night.

G-man would be a tough fight for Calzaghe, he started fast and hit extremely hard and Joe was susceptible to getting caught early as in the Jones and Hopkins fights.

I don't think you could say with any certainty he would go through the list of guys Nigel got in the ring with. I would fancy Gerald Mcclellan putting Joe on ***** street for a start. Benn described being hit by him he could feel all his muscles in his neck ripping.

Let's not forget they were the two final fights of his career

Calzaghe beats both sets of resumes as well as beating Benn and Eubank themselves.

G-Man and Benn have punchers chances and Watson would give him a hard fight, but Joe get's through everyone else on both resumes pretty comfortably.

I am not confident Calzaghe could beat Carl Thompson at CW, and I am not confident he beats Gerald McCllelan.

He had the ability to beat anyone on their resume's on his best night but this is boxing, one punch is all it takes.

I think McClellan would pose the biggest threat. He could ****ing crack, scary power.

I can see McClellan and Benn both being big problems for Calzaghe if they were able to land something big early..

They both had the power to take him out IMO.

The best Joe beats any version of Eubank.

eubanks resume and calzaghe both fought at about the same level (early wbo), though eubanks resume is a little deeper.

Therefore its safe to say Cal would beat pretty much everyone on eubies, with the exception perhaps of Watson, and of course the CW Thompson

Gman on benn is another story, G would quite possibly stop Calzaghe - though Calzaghe would never dare face someone of that calibre anyway, not till they were 40, so its academic.

And of coruse, prime eubank might well taken him and early Benn might spark him out (but then he could spark out anyone when he got in the mood).

Seeing how badly Calzaghe struggled with Charles Brewer and Byron Mitchell, I struggle to see him beating Iran Barkley! And huge right-hand missiles from Eubank, Benn, Lindell Holmes and Gerald McClellan would surely take him out in three or four rounds apiece. A Carl Thompson jab would put him on his backside...

The Michael Watson who fought Eubank in their fateful rematch would block slaps and counter in combinations to grind Calzaghe down before ripping in uppercuts to the ribs with both hands later on when Joe has slowed through the grinding; Watson finishing him with his incredible overarm rights.

Barkley: Joe would completely school and outclass him
Watson: 70/30 in favour of Joe IMO.
Holmes: Beat no one really worth mentioning and lost to much worse fighters than Calzaghe
    Benn: Punchers chance
    McClellan: As above
Eubank: Calzaghe beats any version, way too busy for Eubank
Thompson: Might win due to his size, plus Joe never fought at cruiser, think I swoul;d still favour him though.
