Would Jon Jones be more popular if he adopted an flamboyant Aoki-like personality?

Seems that Jon Jones does not get a lot of respect around here, despite cleaning out(!) what was thought to be the best division in the UFC 2 years ago. I think still people really dont talk about him as much, and before every fight there is a hand full of guys saying that fighter X will expose him.

What do you think? Is he already sort of on his way?

So you would like Jon Jones to repress his emotions less?

  10. Jon jones just needs to stop copying others. The guy guy talks too much IMO seems to have a identity crisis

Even if he would be flamboyant he is still arrogant for and example he said something like that if he wouldnt become the Muhammad Ali of mma he would feel like a failure

People that know jones says he's a cool guy. I went to school by where he grew up and know people that were teammates of him say he was awesome but I think the money and fame got to him

I really liked watching Jones come up. It was cool seeing his confidence grow as his skill and athleticism pushed him through the ranks with crazy ease.. But watching his persona go from excited kid, to an arrogant and righteous *******, sucked. I want to be happy when he clobbers guys, or at least okay with him beating my heroes, but he's a very difficult dude to like, at least on whatever is built on what we see on T.V. and the Internet.. Neither being reliable..

So, who knows? Very well could just be his way of pre-emptive mind games with people who might want to step to him. If this is the case, I wish he were more creative, I'd like to like him for more than his fighting ability.. He wants to be Ali, he needs personality and color.. He's got the charisma of an inanimate object.
