Would Josh Kelly be ready for Amir Khan in Nov / Dec 2018?

With Amir Signed to Matchroom now this could be a potential fight. Would Kelly be ready for the fight if he had 2 fights before that? Or would it be too big a step up after less than 10 fights in his career

Can't see that happening. Kelly's yet to step up to British/European level and Khan's looking to cash out in the latter stages of his career.

Think 2019 would be more realistic but a lot depends on if/when Khan looses again and if he'd want to risk his legacy losing to a relative novice in Josh Kelly

Yeah end of this year, early next year after couple more fights imo..Special talent Josh Kelly and seems very grounded. Looking forward to seeing him compete against the best, because that's where hes heading !

No. Khan's elite speed would be a major issue to an untested hands low prospect. Khan would make him fight with his hands up and probably beat him easily.

He's definitely got the package to beat up C level competition. It's hard to say just now how his style will hold up faced with world class opposition. It's a worrying style imo. He might still look the goods when he steps up or he could be exposed and look like ****. A lot of his fanboys don't know that the best he faced in the ams forced him to fight with his hands up and caught him flush often. I can see the same happening in the pro's. The positive things I did notice about Kelly after watching his toughest fight in the ams was his grit, and he seemed to have a solid chin. He'll need those attributes when he eventually faces fighters who can land on him and dont respect his power which seems average to me. I really want to get on the Kelly hype train as he's great to watch but I just don't know if he'll be able to pull that style off successfully as he progresses up the levels.

Amere Con is looking for retirement fund, maximum cash out fights.

I expect he will lose 2 out of these 3 fights, if he gets through them. His inactivity over the past 3 years points to a fighter who is not interesting in fighting any more, as does him stepping into reality TV. So he may only fight once more if its a bad loss.

At least we should see another brutal KO loss.

I don’t think so and I don’t think it would ever ever ever happen

Khan was a decent boxer and still caused a threat to people with his speed and ability, it was his chin that lets him down, so I’d say Khan would have the experience and skill to beat Kelly

He’s clearly signed this 3 fight retirement plan to get rid of ring rust and finish off with Brook fight. If he fought Kelly, Hearn either loses the hype for the Brook fight or sends one of his best prospects back a few steps at an important stage of his career

At the end of the year will be perfect timing for a Kelly win . Khan is done and never was much hes just a high profile celebrity boxer. Would be a bit like when Khan fought Barrera. Although obviously Khan is no Barrera lol.

The fights that have been lost by Khan was against decent world class opposition.
Lamont Petterson and team under estimated Khans speed (their exact words to this day) So its no joke

Josh Kelly will not be able to handle Khan for a good couple of years There is no point in taking the risk It does not make business sense for him .
At the end of the day he has ten years to make his money why would they risk that at this early stage

Nothing to do with Brook wanting a career high pay day. Probably more than his whole career earnings put together at the point. No of course it’s all Hearn’s fault.

Taylor brutally KO's Khan now, Kelly can in a year or a year and a half. However, if they faced each other in Khan's return match, he might be able to pull it off there, Khan will be a little rusty, and a rusty Khan, as usual is a chinny Khan, since a rusty Khan is more apt to make mistakes.
