I think AJ's chin is better than what most people give him credit for.

I think pressure come forward like Tyson could work, doesn;t have the head movement, but he has body shots and uppercuts that Tyson didn't display as much.

AJ is just brutal. He is so fast with his combinations, so crisp, so clean, so powerful. It's a nightmare for any heavy weight boxer in history.

I can't believe how skills he is with his arsenal. Great fundamentals, great timing.

 

I’d argue that it’s a varied educated jab. Sometimes it’s a hurtful ramrod jab, sometimes it’s a range finder, sometimes he just taps you with it to set traps.

 

Fighting only twice a year will help prolong his career as well.

 

His boxing is improving and the division is fairly weak at the moment, meaning he can outbox practically anyone not named Tyson Fury. He was a walking KO victim for me, up until recently. Now he looks as though he'll be a hard man to floor. I think McCracken is doing a good job and he will continue to improve.

However, if and when he fights Tyson, he won't be able to box with him. He'll have to try and blast Tyson out of there.

 

Yup most likely. It might not improve his reflexes or fluidity within the ring however it will certainly reduce the risk of damage.

 

AJ is copying the Klitschko blue print because he is looking for longevity as champion & the maximum rewards he can get. You manage to achieve longevity by not getting hit very often and remaining the champion. AJ has a good chin & good skills, but the more times you get popped the more degraded a chin gets.

Its not the best thing to watch, but you can see why he has gone down that road. Wlad was undefeated champion for 10 years in his second career.
