Would Kirkland have stopped Hatton?

    Possibly... Hatton is one tough cookie so lets not invent dream fights with a dream outcome yet.

    YEs, doubt he would have made it past 4 rounds with Kirkland, same with Angulo.

    but that doesn't mean that Kirkland is a better fighter then Alvarez or is a 100 percent lock in a fight against him.

    kirkland is a middleweight hatton is most def a welter, not a real fair comparison

    It would mean he is a harder puncher, and seeing that they both lack defense I would go with the harder, bigger, stronger fighter winning.

    i would favor Kirkland as well, but objectively it cant be as wide as some make it out. Their level of competition is somewhat similar, Alvarez has been hurt and Kirkland has tasted the canvas and both have good power with Kirkland having an edge in pure power and Alvarez having an edge in accuracy.

    I don't know... Matthew Hatton is one game ******* and I don't see too much difference between Alvarez and Kirkland. Both guys are strong walking mummies with bad defense... so it's hard to tell.
