Rumor has it to this day that Golota thought that he was supposed to be fighting the label "Bowe" on Riddick's shorts.

 

Have a listen to him rank himself among the greats. His head couldn’t possibly get any bigger.

 

Rightfully so he is genuinely great at heavyweight and did something extraordinary with his life.

 

You gotta have some sort of an ego to make it that far.

There is nothing rightful about much of his ludicrous nonsense. & more impressive Boxers have existed with less ego, frankly.

 

I don’t like how Larry Holmes talks about Marciano either or some of what he says (which is healthy) but people who’ve met him will tell you he’s a good man with time for fans a true gentleman I hear.
Not many more impressive fighters than Holmes at HW is there? 6-8 at most? Arguable top 5 and a lock for top 10 IMO.
Maybe a few but the best heavyweights Joe Louis and Muhammad Ali - Ali well, Ali was who he was and he was worse much worse from just what we know
Louis in his private life really wouldn’t be someone you’d like I judge with a very large ego himself and an arrogant streak,
All these fighters have been humbled in the gym before, each one knows humility and all learn it at one stage or another - no one starts the best.

 

Hugh McIlvanney quipped that Riddick thought that Golota was fighting upside down.

 

Peter Marciano should take the blame for that post fight debacle.

 

I don't see how he can be ranked any lower than no 7.
