Alot of people who will voice their opinion wont have seen Leonard or Hearns fight much outside of highlight vids and the Hagler/Hearns fight

They will just comment off popular opinion

I'm not sure how you can judge Hearns without size advantages but I'll still say yes.

Neither have certain victories, this is Boxing.

I'd argue no, Hearns would be a slight favourite over Mayweather if we took away his giant size advantage.

Fair point. Hearns extra size was so instrumental to his style. We will have to try to imagine him as a super feather with a size advantage instead of having his welterweight size adv.

Not a bad way of evening it up.
Much as I think they'd both win I still struggle to see Floyd being stopped or KO'd.Funnily enough, bespite my shameless fanboy love for Ray,I suspect Tommy would get by Floyd a bit easier. The only welter who could have done that to Tommy at that time was Ray,and if he(Tommy) boxed the way he did that night I think he'd have a more comfortable time against Floyd.
I can't make a case for Manny against either I'm afraid.:-(

emmanuel gets whooped by Motor City Cobra either way. emmanuel's face is a magnet for right hands. Hearns possibly had the best of all time.

Hitman Hearnz still be a pain in the AZZ for Floyd to deal with. He has the combo of a great jab AND right hand. Oscar was able to keep Floyd at bay a few times with his jab, but the converted southpaw had no right hand to follow it up with.

No one knows, Leonard & Hearns are not the end all be all of boxing, its annoying to continue to assume that Hagler, Hearns & Leonard are better than any fighter that came after their eras, they were great fighters but they are not super human and also have lost to men who were better on those nights, neither Hearns nor Leonard has face any one like Floyd or Pac, although Pac is at a size disadvantage against a guy who's 5'10 and 6'1, but there are other fighters who I think give them problems...

Hearns would suffer more from a descale, the leverage he got on his shots was immense.

Either way size is a factor just as important as power or footwork, same with cuts and dedication.
