Would Lewis have given Vitali a rematch if he lost the first one?

Is that a real quote from Steward?

    Do you have a source?

A champion always finds a way to win.

    Lewis didn't owe Vitali anything.

This is all hypothetical, desperately clutching at straws bull****.

IMO it might be an idea to post pro vitali pictures WITHOUT his face covered in blood.

But it equally shows he has been hit and hit worse. As evidence goes, thats not good for your case.

More hits yes, better shots no not really. IMO

i agree it was a good fight, i agree a rematch would have been good to watch but I dont agree he wimped out..........

Lennox always had motivation issues and thats just his nature.

Steward: "He [Lennox] told me that Vitali hurt him in that fight pretty bad and that he didn't want to have to face him again. I told him that if he wanted to continue fighting at all, that he would have to give Vitali a rematch. He chose to retire."

It would be his best, maybe second best payday. but he says no!

Same old pissing match here. Lewis won, fair and square. Lewis retired instead of giving VK the rematch that Lennox told him he would. These are the facts.

Lewis did come in the heaviest weight ever in his career, but I don't think he was as over-the-hill and out of shape as a lot of people here say. If the rematch would've happened, I'd have to go with VK.

There was no big money in a Vitali fight. He was not on the map until the first fight. I dont agree with that. The UK commentary during Lennox's ring walk was along the lines of........nobody expected to see Lewis fight again.....yet here he is.

He retired (according to Vitali) because his mum told him to. If thats true I dont know but it was a smart decision to retire if the fire has gone out and those 5 am runs just seem pointless.
