Please also explain how Sanders is better than...

Povetkin, Chagaev, Haye, Ibragimov, Pulev..... thats just off the top of my head.

Sad, sad, wickle HerolGee, spends his days stalking Wlad and Calzaghe threads.

Assuming he fights them at a similar time and age (not prime Lewis vs each of these guys individually) of course he slips up somewhere. He would certainly be a favorite over all of Wlads opponents but as stated already between a more reckless early style, a chin that could be cracked, and at times showing up not in peak condition it is bound to happen. Who is better between Lewis and Klitschko is another conversation all together.

so, when kliturd needs to explain why worst ever retired sanders easily killed prime wlad in seconds, then Sanders is some ATG killer who was deliberately avoided by ATGs.

AHHHHH but NOW the boots on the other foot, Sanders is SUDDENLY NOT AN ATG KILLER.

    MAJOR FLOP MATE.

why you posting a magazine rankings full of staff who watch oceans eleven, before an actual boxing organisations?

what you posting next, 2002's sexiest boxers by GQ magazine (ga.y version)?

here u go, wbc 2002, who rightly pay little attention to unrecognised wbo titles of the 90s and early 2000s, treating it like a national title -

    1. Mike Tyson

    2. Vitaly Klitschko, Ukraine

    3. Hasim Rahman

    4. Evander Holyfield

    5. Oliver McCall

    6. Juan Carlos Gomez, Cuba

    7. David Tua, New Zealand

    8. Fres Oquendo

    9. Chris Byrd

    10. Jameel McCline.

I don't care if you are gay.

RING is someone in the real world.

No organizations will rate other title holders. That's why John Ruiz is not on that list. The belt holders were Lewis, Wlad, and Ruiz.

Wlad beat both Byrd and McCline and any accurate listing would reflect him in higher standing.

Lennox would have gone through Wlad's oppostion like a knife though butter for the most part...I think Sultan Ibragimov was clever and shifty enough to go the distance and Corrie Sanders' chances intrigue me. Not saying he would win however.

yeh like you'd find half naked men in a straight mans magazine, dumster. That's the only reason I said it.

    still not a boxing organisation.

ok I give u that, sorry if I inferred anything but as I don't mean that - BUT you are still basing your claim on a magazines rankings, and the major organisations rankings, as I inferred, were/are superior.

What the hell is wrong with you? There are "half naked" men in all sorts of magazines aimed at straight men. Fighting magazines, Fitness magazines, Maxim...all that stuff, because straight men don't associate a shirtless dude with sex. If you do, that's your problem or blessing. Find your rainbow and ride it to happiness. We are boxing fans, and shirts aren't allowed in boxing, are you calling us all *****?

And prior to Oscar's reign of terror, it was the one and only Bible of Boxing. Now there are more places to get alternative ratings, you won't find many from 2002. RING was the authority, doesn't mean they are right, but if they had Wlad as #1 for two years, it is fact he was largely seen as the #1 behind Lewis at the time. And has nothing to do with a stupid Brad Pitt movie. Prior to the Sanders loss that dropped him down the ratings, Wlad was the most qualified at the time with his dominating wins over Byrd and McCline. Nobody else did more in that time.

Not really, the major organizations didn't list other champions and their ratings were all over the place based off their agendas. The WBC really wanted Tyson vs Lewis. SO they made Tyson #1 without him having a proper comeback. The IBF wanted Byrd vs Lewis so they made Byrd #1 at the time for just beating Tua.

Stop repeating this lie, please. It's getting annoying:

"AE: You really hadn't fought much leading into the Klitschko bout, having only two fights and three rounds of action in the previous three years. There were some reports that you were 'semi-retired' when you got the call from Universum Box Promotions.

CS: Err, well no I wasn't retired. I was still fighting but I was looking to get out. I thought maybe two or three more fights and I was looking towards maybe finishing next year."

Not taking sides or trying to get in the middle, but I actually think Corrie might have beaten some of those guys. With that said, I wouldn't call Sanders Wlad's " best" opponent either.
