    Linear?
    Yes.

The line ends with him right now.

It would take either someone to beat Lewis, or to unify for it to 'restart' or continue.

Unless someone else takes it, yes. Till then....he is lineal. You can lose the title by retiring as in, it's up for grabs. Much like PBF retired and came back and kept his lineal title.

Just like the time Robinson may a come back and lost the lineal middleweight title to Ralf Tiger Jones.

Forget that Carman would latter beat Robinson. Jones was the real champ at the time.

If so, it's an example of yet another flaw with any of the belts. Whether it's Linear, the Ring, or the ABC's - it's just a big mess.

He can beat everyone but Wlad now with minimal training.

Only Wlad would require him to be in prime shape at his age and that still would be a very tough order for this version of Lennox.

    Linear isn't a belt - and it's not a flaw at all.

Linear champ is just a made up thing, that's interesting to follow. If the current "man who beat the man" etc retires -the only way to get another is to have an undisputed champ.

Until that happens, it's all up for grabs.

It has NOTHING to do with who's the best at the time. just who can trace back beating the man etc in time.

Is there an "age rule" for that?

BTW. Who decides if the fighter gain or lose the "linear title"?

the public really decides it so if the public think someone is too old then it would be a general public opinion
