Rigo beat prime year old Donaire easily.
Walters sparked prime Donaire in one fight.Loma embarrassed both with ease.Donito is Nonoyas best win.Do the math.

Loma would spark his ass at 130. I hope the fight can be made before Loma is too old but even older Loma is too much for Inoue. Also, I bet if they met at 130, the weight disparity would be less than the weight Loma gave up in the Lopez and Haney fights. Loma beat Haney and got robbed…but that’s another matter. He would not get robbed against Inoue because he’d knock him out.

I could elaborate upon this given that some of the Inoue fans want to be pricks about this

But I'll just leave it to someone who has shared a ring with both of them

Then let him move down to 130 so we can stop making excuses for him at 135.

The weight disparity wouldn't even be remotely close to what it was between Loma and Haney or even what is was between Loma and many of the other fighters he's fought at 135 and Inoue has a 2'' longer reach than Loma. Inoue is almost as big as Loma FFS

Inoue was giving away about 2lb and 4lbs respectively in his two fights at 122 against Fulton and Tapales IIRC, in his fourth weight class and fifth from the one he started out at. Loma is giving away way more than that against everyone at 135 and often a huge amount of reach too. And sometimes way way more weight than that.

But some of these Inoue fans think it's completely unfair and unreasonable to expect Inoue to fight someone he'd be giving away twice as much as he was against Tapales but Loma routinely giving away way more than that and a huge amount of reach is totally fair and reasonable

Lomachenko fought and won a Gold Medal at the Olympic’s at 140. This narrative that Lomachenko is fighting above his natural weight class is false. How do you compete at 140 and win gold medals in an international competition but he’s undersized?

Loma fought at featherweight and lightweight in the amateurs

Lightweight in the amateurs = 132lbs same day weigh ins, not 135lbs 24 hour or 36 hour weigh ins

He won gold at lightweight in the Olympics and World amateur championships, a division he was undersized at and not as dominant as he was featherweight is because there is no featherweight division in amateur boxing anymore because they scrapped it so it literally would be impossible for him to have won medals at that weight too after that

He weighed 129lbs in the ring for his pro debut at 126 with a 24 hour weigh in. That's 3lbs under the lightweight limit in the amateurs same day weigh ins. He bulked up after that but he even at his absolute heaviest he was only coming in 6.5lbs above the amateur lightweight limit in the pros at 126 with a 24 hour weigh in

He's tiny for 135 and everyone he's fighting at that weight is clearly much or way bigger than him. If you're routinely facing opponents who are much or way bigger than you often with huge reach advantages you're fighting in a division you don't belong in. He looked healthy on the scales at 126 for goodness sake and he looks the picture of health on the scales at 135 not skipping any meals all week of the weigh in, whereas, some of his opponents look like Sketetor on crack at weigh ins

''By tomorrow I'm going to look like a different man. A whole new man''

    --Teofimo Lopez

Teo looking like he's just walked out of a concentration camp, his face all sucked in and deathly ill and literally slurring his words. Loma not skipping a single meal all week looking very healthy and no different on the scales to how he does on fight night.

    Teofimo Lopez

''I think that he's on his way out. I really do believe that and 135 is just too much of a big weight class for him''

''If you look at the Luke Campbell fight, you can see there is just a lot of wear-and-tear on his body.

“I look at it like this—maybe this whole COVID-19 year helped him out. Maybe he needed it. That way he can probably at least hang in there a little bit with me. It’s going to be a great fight. I just look at the facts. You see a fighter who has gone up in weight class. Sometimes they go up too much where their body isn’t used to it, or the weight class is too big for them.''

“This man has had over 400 fights. I have over 150 fights. I’m 23. I’m going to tell you this, when I get to camp, oh man, my body aches sometimes. If I’m 23 and dealing with stuff at this age, I can only imagine what he must be going through at 32 with over 400 fights.”

    Teofimo Lopez Sr.

“We’ve been looking for this fight forever, and stylistically, my son is a nightmare for this guy,” father Lopez said. “(Lomachenko) is not supposed to be in this weight division. My son is a big 135-pounder with a lot of skills. Skill-wise, this is a great matchup, and great for the fans. I see my son outboxing him, and I know a lot of people say that can’t happen. They’re going to be surprised.

“There’s no 126-pounder who’s going to beat my son. It’s impossible. Team Lopez feels Lomachenko is slowing down, with examples coming from the Jorge Linares fight. They feel Lomachenko has peaked.

Do I even need to post photos of Haney on the scales?

''Terence Crawford older than Loma, is he old? No,” said Haney to a group of reporters recently. “They not saying that he old, don’t say that Loma's old. Now all of a sudden he got old overnight.”

    --- Devin Haney

Floyd 2019: ''Lomachenko needs to fight as many fights as possible, extremely quick!, because he's very very old''

Tank 2019: ''Loma an old man. I'll retire him''

Devin Haney 2020: ''Loma is too old too slow''

    Shakur Stevenson

Interviewer: ''You saw Loma recently, how was that?''

Shakur: ''Yeah I seen him. He looked small. That's what I really was thinking. He's tiny for 135, I just moved up and I felt way bigger than Lomachenko''

Interviewer: ''He's like a natural featherweight''

Shakur: ''I think he should go back down. I think he'd be a lot better at 130''

"Devin is too big. Like, I think the size ... don't get me wrong, Lomachenko can fight. Devin is way out of his weight class. He's going to make 35 and then shoot up to 150 or 160 nine times out of 10, and Lomachenko is going to be 137 or 138, so it's just not even fair to me."

“I think he [Devin Haney] smokes Lomachenko.

“I didn’t like the way he looked against Ortiz. I saw him in the gym two or three weeks ago, he looked like a 126lb fighter, he doesn’t look like a 135lb fighter.

“I think Dev is too long and tall.”

The fact that 118 pounder at the time Inoue was almost as big as Loma despite them campaigning five divisions apart tells you everything you need to know

Loma was a few months away from turning 26 when he turned pro, had he turned pro in his late teens like many others did 135 would not be his third weight class it would be like his sixth if he wanted to become a six division champ or maybe even more if he wanted to be a massive weight bully like many others
