Let the 3 or 4 Carnera torch bearers here believe what they want.I just wish they would stop trying to convert the rest of us!

Were his wins over Campolo, Heeney, Impelletiere, Uzcudun, Loughran, and Sharkey fake?

Seems weird that Louis would take 7 rounds to knock out a guy who is a fraud. Didn’t Louis call Carnera one of his best victories? His top 5 I seem to recall. Also, didn’t Carnera win a round or two of the fight? Seems like despite the dark clouds over Primos career, there are numerous reasons to take him serious as a HW.

Primo wouldn't have needed Manny to be successful in the post Lewis era. He could always be thought to lean down on guys to win like Wlad did.
But he would have been a top ranker , maybe even the champ the way he was.
