I do not think Margo would take Tito's shot's as well but I think he would weather the storm. Cintron has a some heavy hands and all the leather he ate from Cotto that night defies logic

It's hard to say,I'd lean towards yes that he could take some punishment from Tito.

Tito would have sent MArgarito past Mexico, all the way down to ARgentina.

seriously though, it would have been a war. Margarito can definately take a few of Tito's shots on that granite chin. But not as many as he took from Cotto.

Tito, wide UD. Tito wouldn't knock out Margo, but unlike Cotto his punches would get enough respect to keep Margo off and back him up

The last guy who tried to walk through a Tito Special regretted it.

PBF has got amazing defence. You could send in your boy with a brick in each hand and tell him to swipe at Mayweather, and he would still walk out clean.

There's a reason they call him Pretty Boy.

Well, Trinidad was in NY when it happened, Hopkins was in Philadelphia... Trinidad did some volunteer work while Hopkins ... you guessed it was in Philadelphia... The are no excuses for Trinidad's loss against Hopkins, if he did something or didn't do something he needed to do that's his responsibility and the consequences are for him to deal with, however, your post did have a smart ass tone to it that made me think you needed some facts cleared up. Like the fact that a lot of family members here in Puerto Rico suffered many losses in the 9/11 attack just like so many Americans did and that not only the people who actually live in the USA were the ones affected by it.

Margo HAS been hurt before by fighters with less power than Tito. He wouldn't fight like he did against Cotto, unless he was crazy.

every bigger man at 154 and 160 who thought they could out-muscle tito and trade punch for punch with him got obliterated.

trinidad's power was special at 147, and he'd never tire out from beatin' someone's ass the way cotto did.

It wasn't special. It was augmented by hard ass handwraps.

I mean does anyone seriously dispute this? One left hook in the first round knocked Vargas into lala land. And most opponents up to that point couldn't take one or two flush shots without being knocked down or wobbled.

The dude was fighting with loaded gloves. Get over it. Yes he stopped Mayorga but only after hitting him how many times? And most of the damage was in body shots.

With loaded handwraps he'd certainly knock Margarito out but it'd take a long time. Even still it would be unjustifiable how much damage that cheat would be doing. I'm not a fan of Hopkins but he was the first to shed light on that nonsense and Trinidad hadn't looked the same since.

Without the handwraps the playing field levels out dramatically.

Mayo moved up in weight and he wasn't the same Mayo he was at 147 even Roy Jones said that and it took Tito like 8 round's to stop a small out of his wieght class Mayo.

BTW he stop him with a body shot.
