Hell no, he does not have THAT much skill. He's also not naturally that big. He'd get knocked out by Paul Williams, Kelly Pavlik, or an old Winky Wright. There is no way he'd be able to deal with Edison Miranda. He is at his physical peak right now.

He can win a decision over certain fighters at 160 but he would have to do it in a way that would be very displeasing to the fans.

Because the Hopkins fight showed us that Pavlik has difficulty with a master boxer. Boxer vs. puncher 90% of the time the boxer will always win. Floyd is the best technical fighter in the game right now and regardless of size, I think Floyd wins a UD

it's not that Pavlik gets no respect, he's got guts and a solid punch, but he's just not elite.

Its possible for PBF to beat Pavlik.

Pavlik was only able to hit Hopkins flush 1 or 2 times, and Floyd has better defense, lateral and head movement than Bhop.

In fact the huge height difference benefits Floyd more, he just has to bend over and Pavlik would miss all day.

He says he fights for checks and not for pride at the same time I don't think he's stupid either. On the other hand, if he felt he could win and it made money he probably would.

Obviously if a 6'1" 170+ Hopkins can beat Pavlik, a 5'8" 147+ Floyd would do the same..... :patsch

Pavlik stops Mayweather. Come on let's get real. Do you really think Mayweather's punches would actually hurt Pavlik? Pavlik double jabs and the right hand comes behind that. Mayweather hates the jab and Mayweather would get stopped. He looked like **** at 154 against De La Hoya and at 160 Pavlik would crush him. people are comparing Floyd and Hopkins? Ok they are not the same fighter, they've got good defense and there black, that's about it. Come on Hopkins is much much bigger knows what it's like to get hit and walk with 160 pounds. Mayweather doesn't. Just insane.
