Hop had size and strengh to beat Pavlik. Floyd wont have that luxury. Do you expect Floyd to run without getting hit?

i agree in that Floyd would have to be the underdog if he fought Kelly...with that said it isn't totally necessary to rule out a floyd victory...the man can box and move and though he may not be able to knock Kelly out he could take a decision by fighting in a similar style the way he did against Carlos Baldomir....punch and move...I WOULDN'T BET ON FLOYD HOWEVER!

MY ARGUMENT JOKER ISN'T TO SAY THAT FLOYD WOULD BEAT KELLY BUT RATHER THAT HE WOULD HAVE A LEGIT SHOT AT BEATING HIM IF THE FIGHT EVER TOOK PLACE..

WITH THAT SAID I DOUBT FLOYD WOULD BE DUMB ENOUGH TO FIGHT A BIG FIGHTER LIKE KELLY UNLESS THE PAYDAY WAS RIDICULOUS AND KELLY JUST DOESN'T HAVE THAT TYPE OF EXPOSURE TO BRING FLOYD A PAYDAY...THAN AGAIN FLOYD BRAGS ABOUT HOW MUCH OF A STAR HE IS SO I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HOW THE HYPE BEFORE THE FIGHT WOULD PLAY OUT AND HOW MUCH MONEY WAS PUT UP FOR THE FIGHT...THIS FIGHT WOULD SHOW THE FANS IF FLOYD IS THE DRAW OR IF HE IS JUST A GREAT B SIDE FIGHTER BECAUSE IF IT SOLD THAN IT WOULD OBVIOUSLY BE FLOYD DOIN WHAT HE SAYS HE CAN DO WHICH IS MAKE PEOPLE BUY HIS FIGHTS....BUT IF IT DIDN'T THAN WE WOULD KNOW THAT OSCAR AND RICKY WERE THE 1'S TO MAKE FLOYD'S PPV #'S HUGE AND HE WAS REALLY ON THE B SIDE THE WHOLE TIME!...

    No
Though I think Calzaghe would un retire and make weight to beat up on FMJr.
Just so people could hate on him more for beating up a smaller guy...
which they have no problem with Floyd doing it ...

Floyd could possibly go up 2 divisions to 160 and fight a champ (chump) there but I think he will not take the risk...

IMO Floyd prefers to "weight drain" down to 140 than going up to 160...

Floyd is no Paul Williams... who can jump anywhere from 147 to 165...;)

fraud would not fight Pavlik or Sturm, it's unrealistic to think so. he won't even fight Margarito, Cotto, Mosley or Pacquiao, he sure won't fight Pavlik or Sturm. he may one day talk about it, and his huggers will believe it, but it won't happen. too much risk of getting knocked out cold.

however, if they were able to install a soft punching smaller slower boxer to win a 160 belt, and set it up that way for fraud, that scenario could be possible.
But Sturm is out of the question. his jab alone would brutalize fraud.

fraud is 5-8, Sturm is over 6 ft, he'd smack raud with that excellent jab he has all night. easy work for Sturm.
