Marquez 1 year before facing Floyd..

It's not really fighting 2 divisions up when you come in on fight night in that division usually.

No Bazooka, you're projecting your own biases onto what people will think of him in a decades time. Time always softens perceptions, especially in the U.S. They already love and appreciate him in the U.K. The United States will take longer, but it will happen over here too, eventually.

If a beast like Tyson can have his own show on Broadway, then Floyd will be in everyone's good graces within 5 years of his retirement.

Oh, and the Marquez thing is just to throw salt in a wound. Why?

you mean the guy who dragged up a lightweight instead fighting the WW champ who was calling him out. You ain't fooling anybody, Floyd's cherry picking ways are known well. His name has become synonymous with the term.

Floyd came out of retirement and schooled marquez. Pac tried to cherry pick Marquez 2 years later and got embarrassed  :rofl

It doesn't appear that Floyd wants to fight above 154 lbs.
