I dont think Cotto was at 154 at the time.....

But Oscar came off a long lay off and beat Mayorga who did snag a few solid wins at 154.....

But There was spinks and who else? either way Oscar was a belt holder not The man at 154 he was the man in terms of star power and money he was not lineal

You might not think it but that's not what matters, Cotto was rated #1.

He was 3 fights into his WW career. JMM had his first WW fight against PBF.

How though? Oscar and Floyd fought at 154 back in 2007, Cotto hadnt even moved up in weight, in fact he didnt fight Margarito until June of 08 so how could he be rated #1 at Jr Middle weight?:huh

We're talking about weight jumping here. Both have moved up equal amounts of weight in their career.

Doc asking if Floyd would move 2 divisions makes no sense. That means Marquez would have to move up 2 more as well snce they have both jumped the same amount of weight. Comprende?

since Marquez wasn't "fully developed" when he fought Floyd @ WW, why doesn't he ask for a rematch?

i mean, surely after KOing Pac, he can call himself a real WW now.

Juan, Floyd and Oscar are all HOFs :huh

I'm not discrediting what Juan did. It was real ballsy and deserves credit and I do often, but you can praise him w/o discrediting Floyd

it is you who dont understand drink some more coffee grab some Ibuprofen and water to take away the hang over and come back to re read what Doc is asking...

Would Floyd ever jump 2 weight classes and face a Champion like Marquez did? No tune ups, just straight for the title...
