Lets say a miracle happens, and they do fight. Mayweather would probably adopt a more aggressive version of Shane's strategy and it would probably be a UD win for Mayweather. Pacquaio would try to force the fight but Mayweather wins with his jab, counters and movement.

Will this turn the general public from boxing? I'm sure they will be a lot of disappointed folks who shelled out big bucks expecting Hagler-Hearns II.

don't forget about the knockdowns that pac puts on mayweather, Can mayweather make up enough points from the knockdowns, I don't think so.

I don't think this fight will be boring because Pacquiao will either blow away Mayweather or look very bad trying. So it will be exciting. And i think even if Mayweather outclasses Pacquiao, the public will appreciate the skill level displayed.

I'm pretty sure it would be pretty anticlimatic for the general public.

Good thread yes, could very well happen and is a possibility. It's happened before where megafights turned out to be duds, but fighters like Pacman and Sergio are real fighters that go out of there way to make them exciting as possible. It's rare when both fighters are speedy, it's usually only one that has a speed advantage, but all 3 p4p kings, Sergio, Floyd, and Pacman have that speed. That is what makes it almost a surething it will not be boring. I hope.

Only if Floyd goes into survival mode like Mosley and Clottey did.

If Floyd fights to win, it will be a great fight

Pac would be hesitant like hell of trowing against Floyd, Floyd dont like to be hit... hes careful. Floyd is always on survival mode. Look at him fight. You keep posting **** againt Floyd but you dont know much about him.

All you prolly know is that he use xylocaine. He dont fight all the top dog. And hes gay.... But look at his fight...the guy is pretty amazing in a ring.

Oh yeah, because Mayweather has been down sooooo many times before...

I think you meant to say "don't forget about the knockdowns that mayweather puts on pac," being that Pacquiao has tasted the canvas many times, and, based on some of the footage, loves to cuddle into a little ball on the canvas he's so comfortable there.

Pot shotting just is not going to beat Manny Pacquiao. He's too fast, too busy, and too accurate. There will be exchanges in this fight if Floyd wants to win. It won't disappoint.

Floyd must exchange. He must fight toe to toe and change his game. Judges value activity in the ring. Mayweather is going to limit Pac's punch output, but unless he hurts Pacquiao, Floyd's chances of winning a decision are slim. He needs a KO to win

i see a brutal KO in the making at the hands of Pac, he will crack Floyd's untested chin and emasculate him in front of his fans for the world to see
