It would be the first time the sports two best pound for pound fighters faced each other since Julio Cesar Chavez-Pernell Whitaker. But would it be the biggest fight since Joe Frazier-Muhammed Ali 1:think

for sure this fight would be bigtime, the undefeated p4p 1 who seemingly retired lol for a bit against the Philippino sensation who is currently p4p 1, it hold a lot for both guys place in history and for there great legacy's

    no way.

Its about the same magnitude as SRL vs Hagler, and even that is stretching it.

But Leonard was stepping up in weight and had only one fight in five years.Few pwople gave him a chance(I'm not saying Leonard-Hagler wasn't a massive fight)If Pacquiao beats Hatton then Mayweather-Pacquiao would be a titanic clash of two borderline unbeatable fighters.

It would be up there with other great fights.

Ali - Frazier I was just so big to more people since boxing was huge then and the fight also had political ramifications.

It'll be comparable to Chavez-Whitaker, SRL-Hearns, SRL-Hagler. Both fighters are very charismatic and with Pac being the hero & PBF the villain, PBF undefeated p4p king coming back from retirement vs the current p4p 1, this would be huge. Dont think it will outsell DLH-PBF but thats more down to economy than interest.

Yeah I'd liken it to DeLaHoya Trinidad - HW megafights are always on a different level.

It would be bigger than Whitaker v Chavez, but not quite as big as Leonard v Hagler in '87.
