    I like this assessment .

Tyson at his very peak would have my vote to beat both klitschko's, but even under those circumstances, their size advantage and outside fighting game would make them both very tough matches. A post rooney/pre-prison tyson, such as the one who lost to Douglas and decisioned Ruddock would lose to the Klits, but after a very competitive effort. Tyson anytime after prison doesn't last long with either of them.

Let me explain something to you youngen! Holmes retired at 37 and cameback two years later to fight Tyson which would had made him 39, right? Mind you Holmes never took a beating from anyone and I mean ANYONE so basically he was still in good shape. And by the way, if you saw Holmes today he still looks the same, the guy took good care of himself. So using the Holmes fight as a making a case that Tyson would had made both Klits cry like bitches, its fine, IMHO.

People think that any version of Tyson 'destroys' Vitali Klitstchko are either honestly overrating Tyson by lightyears, dont really understand this matchup in a boxing sense, or are completly underrating vitali.

Tyson could have very well beat todays version of Vitali, whos 40 years old and done past it. But it wouldnt be a destruction, and a prime for prime matchup would show a good, competetive fight, that Tyson would probably win, but it sure as hell wouldnt be by destruction.

Larry Holmes is a far better boxer than both the K Bros.

What great fighters have the K Bros fought? Between them they have close on 100 fights and the biggest name on theie combined resume is a fading Lennox Lewis which resulted in a loss.

Rooney trained Tysons resume pisses all over the K Bros.

Tyson wasn't a brawler though. And since when are holmes and spinks brawlers? He was a very technical boxer, and he rarely stood toe-to-toe trading punches with people. He was outboxed ONCE in his prime, by Douglas. I don't hate on the klits, but you've got to give more credit to Tyson than that. His high pressure with his speed would have put ANY heavyweight in an uncomfortable position.

Here's the Ring Magazine's top ten of 1986.

Chapion: Micheal Spinks, a L.H weight.

    #1 Mike Tyson.

    #2 Bonecrusher Smith, 15-5-0, lost 1 in 4 fights.

#3Pinklon Thomas, alcoholic/drug addict, but like Smith had beat Witherspoon.

#4 Tim Witherspoon, never beat a named fighter after 86.

    #5 Tony Tubbs, Crack addict.

#6 Trevor Berbick, 32-4-1, never beat one top 20 fighter after Tyson.

#7 Buster Douglas, had lost to Mike White, Jesse ferguson and David Bay.

#8 Tony Tucker, King fighter, had no top 20 fighter on his record.

#9 Frank Brono, suffered from panic attacks most of his life.

#10 Tyrell Biggs, Also drug addict.

So you see Tyson's era was not great or even good.

How many of those were drug addicts when they fought Tyson sweetheart?

I cannot recall Bruno having a panic attack when he fought Tyson,Witherspoon,McCall or Lewis.

    Please try harder.............
