You can play down any era as weak, what you cannot play down is his quality as a fighter. There is simply nothing that he lacked as a boxer especially for a heavyweight. He KTFO of anybody that was put in front of him and his technique is simply not even seen in any of the heavyweights.

Watching K Bros fight is like watching paint dry.

Trained for 11 days and 8 years later him and his nuthuggers still talk about it like getting TKO'd in 6 rounds by a past prime FAT fighter is a good thing :patsch

what do i see tyson lacking??tyson was a brawler.a very good brawler who not only relied on his power he relied on intimidation..if he failed there he lost..and when he fought boxers who boxed he lost..his resume is blown out of preportion just because he blu away mediocre opposition due to his style..again i repeat.when tyson fought anyone who was a good boxer he lost..and a prime tyson does not kill lewis.he woudlnt get near him simples

Tyson beat out of shape bums, in this era he'd have to fight lean mean conditioned athletes like Chambers/Arreola/Toney/Peter

no idiots like youself cant seem to wrap round your head that lewis got extremly lucky in that fight...and let me explain...all that matters is lewis won...i was one happy ****er when the doc stopped the fight i was disguted that some unkown was kicking lennox ass..but im not that ****ing ignorant to realise when your behind on all cards and getting a lesson to win on a cut is extremly lucky.there should have been a rematch..lewis would have loost it..im glad for him he didnt go out on a loss but he owed that man a rematch its pretty simple and obvious

do you know why he waited? because he hated and I mean HATED holmes for what he did to ali. he wanted to put the hurt on which is why he didn't hesitate to make the fight.

Brawler? Fk me. He did right bodyshot, right uppercut and left bodyshot all in one combo. Tell me another heavyweight that does that? He actually had defence instead of leaning back and jab with long arms as the only defence. The guy was the most complete boxer I ever saw and to call him just a brawler. Yeah he brings the battle to your face but that is because of his size but not a no skill brawler that is just slugging it out. Only later he became like that.

You haven't watched his fight properly if you think he just slug it out. :patsch
