    You think Povetkin could have one-shotted Tyson? Sasha hits pretty hard but I have my doubts. Maybe if he caught him with the perfect left hook coming in, I dunno ...

    The Fat short unfit Mexican has a real shot at the Top 5....Povetkin included....Prime Tyson who I dont put in my Top 10 Heavyweights of all time would go through this lot like a Bad Indian Curry.!!!

    Fairly good point except Douglas hadn`t done much damage before a couple of rounds leading up to the KO, I watched the fight again recently and though well ahead Douglas was only landing a power shot here and there, the gap was so big because Tyson landed hardly nothing until the 8th round, I don`t think Buster fought well against Tyson at all and mainly won because of his 83 inch reach.

    Povetkin now is 41 y.o, already was over the hill approx 5 years. :D

    From 34 y.o Povetkin? No.
    If he landed properly, Tyson get KTFOed. Whyte vs 41 y.o Povetkin is nice example.
    Perez too might be asked how " weak " punch Povetkin might have.
    Biggest question in boxing always was IF.
    If IF happened, Povetkin might KTFO even 270 lber.

    Pretty large and tough dudes like Whyte, Takam, Charr had been finished by Povetkin.
    Perez is smaller, still even more dangerous than these. He is capabale to turn guy into disabled man, this had been proven. Not just KO or TKO. Povetkin finished Perez in distance.

    It is in terms of a fighter taking a shot, it`s simple which punch was hardest, Pov`s KO over Whyte, the left hook/uppercuts Ruddock landed flush on Mike or Buster`s uppercut that sent Mike to the land of nod.

    No, the question is could he evade Tyson`s amazing offensive skills and punch variety, Mike wasn`t the most powerful heavy of all-time but he was the best finisher, if he got Pov in trouble he would finished him.

    Bigger fighters don`t always take power that well, Bruno wa very heavy in his rematch with Tyson but didn`t take those punches any better than he did in their first bout when Frank was much lighter.
