Would Mike Tyson have been able to take Povetkin's power shots without getting knocked out?

Povetkin could win, but I think Tyson is basically just Povetkin but quicker, stronger, more powerful and aggressive.

I doubt Povetkin would last 3 rounds.

    How old Povetkin or Tyson?
Against prime Povetkin Tyson from 90 ies not likely lasted 2 rounds.
Tyson from 1988 th most likely had won prime Povetkin by UD or via stoppage. This Tyson was fast Tyson.

    Depends from their versions.
Prime Povetkin was faster than Holyfield in his fights vs Tyson.
Prime Tyson looks was in 80 ies, this Tyson was like another boxer. This Tyson looks difficult to hit properly.
Tyson from 1988 most likely now was HW champ.
Tyson from 90 ies? Not likely.

    Difficult to guess.
1988 Tyson vs prime Povetkin? More than 60% chances that Tyson via UD.

Bruno was not a world class fighter and lacked Povetkin`s hand speed.

Mmmm Bruno was a world champion in an era better than this one.Mark you are seriously wrong if you think a mediocre fighter like Povetkin could beat Bruno.

You feel so comfortable to talk like this about Povetkin because he already long years is out of prime?

Where are your measures about mediocrity?
Wilder had only bronze medal at Olympics and did not had defeated any one notable name. Bear this and continue to post comments in forums.

Povetkin in 2004th was Olympic Gold medalist and European Champion.
Povetkin in 2003th was World Championship Gold medalist.

This is mediocrity if compare with your Wilder?
Wilder in his life had fought only one name well known outside of U.S and this name and surname is Tyson Fury.:D
Continue to yell in forums another 2+ years. Post how boxers that are not Wilder are mediocre etc.
    New generation of fanbase. :ibutt

of course bad boxers, bad era, bad decades because Wilder did not had fought any notable name besides Fury.
Therefore bad era, low quality etc.

Of course bad quality vs Fury, bear it. Bad era..............LOL.

Povetkin pro fights are more notable than Wilder's pro fights btw.;)
Even Hunter does have more notable pro fights under belt than Wilder and Ortiz together. :nonono
At least I rate Hunter better than Wilder because he proved that he is good boxer with steel balls.
Lost on points and get a draw, no offense here. He had notable fights. Hunter likes me btw.
I'm not typical boxing fan and might gave kudos to Hunter.
Balls and skills are proven and if he did not won, it does not gave ground to disrespect good boxer.

Why do you keep bringing up Wilder? This is a thread about Tyson who would KO Povetkin inside 3 rounds

Tyson from 90 ies? No, this version had been defeated by prime Povetkin.:D
Now please relax with insults, fanboyZ posts and like this. Common stuff from conor and habib fans.
Tyson from 1988? I already had posted that I gave more than 60% to Tyson vs prime Povetkin by UD.
OK, maybe Povetkin had approx 10% chances to KTFO this version of Tyson.
Clean full power ideal punch from prime Povetkin will not bear any one boxer. Not only U.S boxer.
The same about pleasure to get full amplitude and power punch, well placed from Shavers.
Īt is a bit enough to bear US fanboyZ yelling.
If Shavers had landed wild swinging punches like Wilder on the same Ali from 70 ies like Wilder did this vs bums, Ali get into ICU.
    GOATS yelling.
If he did not managed to do this, it does not matter that Shavers does not beat hard.
    LOL.
