There's only a couple of guys in history I would pick over a 20 or 21-year-old Tyson. Joshua and Haye would both get brutalized, like a flower against a weedeater

    in 88 he was 22. I don't think the 86 20 y/o version was a fire breather.

    I agree with this.

In particular, pre-prison Mike... aka 'Prime Mike' (in the frame of mind he was in prior to Tokyo vs. Douglas) destroys AJ -and early- based on styles.

AJ is still green though, so he's not at his peak just yet. A motivated and focused 'Pre-Prison' Tyson is all wrong for him in his current form, but he could probably beat the broken down "shell" of a fighter that Tyson became after his prison stint.

The Tyson of the Lewis fight loses to AJ in my opinion.

Now based off what we have seen of AJ, I'd have to favour Tyson.

Joshua isn't going to be able to control distance against a fighter like Tyson who was so fast and so good at slipping the jab in his prime. On the inside, guys that gave Tyson trouble tied him up, we haven't seen Joshua do anything like that with an opponent, he's more likely to trade or just cover up in close rather than clinch and shut Tyson down.

Joshua may one day prove he can handle someone like Tyson but he has a lot to prove still to get to that point. He needs to show better control of range, better movement, a more authoritative jab, the ability to clinch and manhandle opponents etc.

Tyson prime for prime KO's him based off what we've seen.
