Maybe he would and maybe he wouldn't.

The question is being asked to imply some form of convoluted logic to compare the ability of one fighter to another.
If boxing operated according to this simple boolean logic, then every 8 year old could be master class.
Don't believe me, but just realize that in his 1st and 2nd Pro matches Salido didn't fight for a championship either. In fact, both his opponents were making their Pro debuts also.
Although Salido didn't fight champions in his Pro debut or 2nd match, he still went on to beat and defeat Lomachenko who had.
Styles make fights. This is boxing.

Many give Salido credit for skipping making weight then throwing low blows all fight long against Loma, so if you're one of the people who think Salido beat Loma then you have to credit Salido for his headbutt that made Garcia quit.

What about if Salido outweighed Garcia by a lot and threw low blows all fight without consequence? Salido was starting to bully Garcia when Garcia quit in that fight. So what would a bigger Salido do when Garcia had never gone 12?

The only argument to be made for Salido winning is if you count lowblows as scoring punches. Take those away and Lomachenko wins a shutout because Salido only landed a handful of legitimate punches throughout the fight. Loma winning is the far easier argument to be made so if you go by boxing rules and what you can see instead of what someone else told you to think then it's understandable that many call that fight a robbery. Everybody knows who wins a fair fight between the two, even Salido.

No I don't the two events are not mutually exclusive, Salido should have been DQ'ed against Loma. The ref should be banned from boxing for at least a year, and made to prove he was able to ref a clean bout before allowed to return, and the fight should be ruled a No Contest.

If Garcia quit how did he win the fight, he knocked the cheating ******* on his ass 4 times and won every round.

As far as I'm concerned, Mikey still has Salido issues that have been left unresolved.

Sounds like you ain't with the sh1ts then breh. Salido is 9lbs and two weightclasses away. If Mikey dropped him on his ass 4 times 4yrs ago, imagine what he'd do to Salido now.

For some odd reason people keep comparing his second fight at 26yo with 400+ amateur fights, multiple WSB to fresh 18-20 year olds that just turned pro.

That doesn't really cut it, comparing lomachenko in his second pro fight with 400 amateur fights, and 8 pro wsb fights isn't the same as mikey garcia in his second pro fight, Garcia could just be better than lomachenko i doubt he'd ever have problems with salido even if it was early in his career, he won every round vs salido wasn't remotely competitive

Every single pro warns amateurs going pro that the pro game is a while different beast.
