I doubt Floyd could have beaten Sasakul at flyweight so I no.

JMM and Morales at 130 would have been tough fights for Floyd IMO

Alot of people tend to forget that HE(Floyd) was the most avoided fighter in the lower weights classes for a long time in the late 90's Genaro was the ONLY champ that was willing to give him a shot at the time but most people tend to forget that type of imformation

this is what I agree with, I think the JMM fight would have been closer but the reach would have still been to much. erik would have the best shot beause he had the size I just think the speed and the fact that he used to throw combos at that weight would have been to mch for him

Cotto is only possibility. A not-beat-down version of Cotto is live one.

This. On any given night, any one of those three could beat him p4p.

MAB is a better version of JLC, just as good if not better to the body, better jab and defense. JLC gave PBF everything he wanted and more. Pac ran a serious, serious gauntlet of great fighters at FW and neighboring divisions. I'm not at all sure Floyd could come out of that undefeated.

To add to that, a lot of people thought May actually lost to JLC the first time around. The result of the rematch is pretty obvious, but take that for what it is.

cotto would have never been a serious threat to floyd. could he have won a few rounds? yeah a few early. but he would never beat floyd

people are still talking about cotto facing floyd at 154 later. You know full well what would happen, floyd wins easily and the same people saying it would be a good fight would give floyd **** for fighting "left overs"

Floyd would win against Cotto, but it would still be a good fight to make or watch.

Certainly tougher for him than Mosley was, IMO.

Mab that Pac fought was older and a lot more battle worn than JLC that Floyd fought. That is undeniable.

Until he fights and beats the man, he doesn't get credit for what ifs.
