Mosley has been in the picture only because Mosley is begging for the fight because He is broke. Dropping down is harder on a fighter than moving up...especially an older fighter like Shane.

Framewise maybe, but he's gotten so muscular that he fights at a ripped 160. 143 would be murder on his body at this stage in his career. We all saw what happened to Roy Jones when he dropped lean muscle.

mosley would not be effective. his ability to move from 147-154 is exceptional, though his best weight is 147. he hasn't fought lower since what, 2001 or so? mosley is a ww, obviously pac-man is if he's fighting for the ww belt. ww is 147: that's what the fight should be.

but back to the point, mosley's a 147 pounder through and through. dropping now, as has been said, at his age will cost him precious muscle and thus lower his reflexes, speed, stamina everything as has been seen with roy jones and countless others
