yes, he received one of the biggest beat downs in boxing history. If he had retired before the Foreman fight I would say No.

Good points except Klitschko had a diabetic episode associated with a toxin commonly found a horse traquilizers and sedatives.

He ate one Left hook after he was already gassed.....he didnt go down until after the rd ended.

His lab results were misplaced or destroyed by 2 independent labs after 24 hrs when they are mandatory to make the test results available and keep the samples for 14 days.

One lab technician resigned from one of the two labs after having purchased a brand new 68K corvette ZR1. Not bad for a guy making 26K/yr.:think

Ali took a lot of hard shots to the body but mostly just schooled Foreman. The beating he took in Manila was way worse.

Ali owned Foreman all night and landed nearly all the clean shots to the head. Foreman won maybe 2 rounds.

Thomas Hauser already shut down that laughable "Wlad was poisoned" claim.

In my opinion, no he wouldn't. His fight with Shavers was a big reason he is the way he is today.

Ali has "Parkinson's Syndrome" not "Parkinson's Disease". Here's a link.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parkinson%27s_Syndrome
My understanding is trauma inducing Parkinson's symptoms is still theoretical.
In the wiki article it lists medication as a common precursor\possible cause. I know toward the end of his career Ali started taking some sort of 'diet pill' (Amphetamines or Thyroxin?) to get his weight down and many within his circle say the decline started then.
I imagine a number of factors contributed.

yeah I'd hate to see all the letters written after Wlad got destroyed by 37 year old retiree Corrie Sanders inside 4 minutes.

hang on Corries not black.... so no need.
