Dude, you surely don't know what you're saying. Pac gave JMM a rematch and that's why the score stands at 1 win and 1 draw in favor of Pac. It's a fact that Pac even tried to give him immediate rematch but JMM priced himself out of the fight. Regarding the bull**** you said about catchweight, Pac has not fought anybody at catchweight so far. Cotto will be Pac's first fight at catchweight. Pac, a lightweight agreed to fight ODLH, a jr middleweight at WW limit of 147 and if you're silly enough to insist it was a catchweight then so be it. It's just one fight, how can you say Pac does it constantly with just a single fight. Well, idiots can say it all the time but I don't mean you!
He didn't make Oscar do anything. Oscar agreed to fight at that weight. You're either ready or you're not. That's not Pac's fault if Oscar had weight issues. Manny did his job and that was that. At the end if the day, Oscar could have complained to the world that wasn't the real him and could have thrown his dollars around and wasted everyone's time again and got a rematch, but that didn't happen. He would have gotton his ass kicked again and he knows this and so do we. From what I can remember, a whole bunch of morons picked Pac to lose to Hatton. Pac runs right through him, so they people say Hatton is shot and was overrated. Pac now is taking a risk by fighting Cotto, a fight Bob Arum made, at a catchweight that was Cotto's idea. He said he can make 145, so don't blame Pac for that. Nobody really expected this fight to happen. Atleast Pac gives us **** we wanna see. And the reason nobody expects him to fight Paul Williams is because in reality, Pac is a Jr welterweight and is NOT claiming to be God's gift to Boxing unlike the kind of **** Floyd is talking. Roach won't put him in with Williams, Pac's managment won't put him in with Williams. They know Pac's limits. For you to imply Pac won't fight Williams off some double standard is absurd.
Well he's a Fighter. And a world champion at that. Of course he's gonna be confident. He wouldn't be a real Fighter if he wasn't.
I think PAC "WOULD" fight Floyd but it's about egos here. Neither man is going to be willing to budge at the negotiation table given that both men are the top of this sport. Floyd's name has nothing to do with the interest and popularity PAC generates and has everything to do with how he performs and the challenges he seeks to solidify his status as the top man in the sport. PAC and his team are idiots?:rofl Ok.....if that were true I'd bet you'd have the IQ of a brick. Listen.....Floyd would probably beat Manny....stylistically its a tough fight for Manny and it's a tough fight for Floyd. But Floyd's cautious style will make it difficult for PAC to drag floyd into a "REAL" fight enough to win a majority of rounds agaisnt Mayweather. PAC isn't afraid of loosing...FLOYD IS! Not that he's scared of PAC or Marg or Williams....he's just more worried about easy money and his undefeated record.
LOL....JMM was the one who hightailed it out of dodge to avoid the rematch..it took 4 yrs to get him back in the ring with Manny and only b/c Manny was a cash cow. How many times has pac faught at a catch weight brah? NONE! This will be the first time yet you seem to think he does it a lot. You arent new to this sport kid....are you? Floyd faught DLH at 154 b/c that wasn't a big jump up for him against a guy who would bring him money he'd never seem before that time and has yet to see since.
WTF! It's not a catch weight homie. You got things twisted. Oscar sought out Manny to replace Floyd. DLH was suppose to crush Manny and he got his **** pushed back. DLH was the FAR bigger man against Manny and they met at a weight that was TWO divisions higher than what Manny ever has faught. DLH had to sacrafice and Manny had to take a HUGE risks. The risks paid off for PAC. PAUL isn't a MW in his words...his best weight is 147....since no one wants to face him at WW he was forced to fight at 154 and 160. They want Floyd to face PW b/c he's the biggest threat to Floyd. Which is a challenge that Floyd seems to not be intersted in.
