Would Pac vs May decide who the best fighter of this generation is?

Roy is a 90's fighter.

2000's belong to pac based on resume.
Floyd's talent puts him in league with whitaker and pep for ATG status.

Pac is in league with armstrong and pryor for offensive mastery.

It's all subjective based on what styles you think are best.

I favor offensive fighters and guys who throw killer body shots.
Slick boxers make some people cream their pants.

Exactly. Jones belongs the era BEFORE the current one. Mayweather and Pac are the only two real contestants for best of the current era.

Manny Pacquiao is the best fighter of this generation. One fight is not the difference.

Floyd has is a better in fighter, out fighter, better body attack, better defense and is more accurate than Manny, Floyd has been on the P4P list since the 90's.....Floyd 18th fight he was world champion, it took Pac over 30 fights and was knocked out twice in those 30 fights......

 

Where does one "era" start and the next begin? Are we talking decades? :think

 

2000-2009 belongs to Pacquiao after all he is the fighter of the decade for that decade. 2010-2019 belong to the new generation unless Pacquiao and Mayweather will keep fighting. IMO, Pacquiao will(should) retire soon. He won a ****ing congressional seat in the Philippines. If he keeps boxing, I think he'll lose.
