Was McGregor overrated? Is Paddy overrated? Would a match-up between the two be worth watching?

Any version of McGregor that fought in the UFC barring fluke injury destroys this clown.

In 2025 at 155lb Pimblett beats Conor by stoppage within a rd and a half. Only 5 % chance Conor can fluke a tko imo he is completey done as a fighter and has been for many many years now. The guy has a real drug/alcohol/behavior issue. Anyone picking him to beat any top 15 guy in the ufc these days is completely deluded.

Conor is almost 37, he is done as a fighter.
And Conor was supposed to fight in 2023, but ended up pulling out due to a toe injury. The only reason he hasn´t had a fight scheduled since is because he simply doesn´t want to fight.

I do expect him to make a comeback eventually, but it will be a half-assed attempt and he will likely get destroyed by anyone half decent.

Unless Paddy takes him to the ground, Paddy is better than Nate Diaz, they are a similar size with Conor`s one inch reach maybe a slight factor but Paddy is too inches taller, I feel he may be too big for Conor, I think it would be a competitive fight.

McGregor is slower and bloated at 170. At 155 he would have stopped Diaz with ease. Size is a non factor. Go watch Pimblett/Gordon.

Conor always gasses after a couple of rounds, I feel Paddy could tire him out by taking him to the mat a lot. I think Paddy has the chin to take Conor`s best shots.

Now he’d knock him out. Prime Mcgregor would wipe the floor with him.

yes. i think modern mma fighters are better than 2016 fighters.

Paddy has better transitioning mma, switches from striking to grappling. He's had some shotty performances in the past, but the Paddy that just fought Chandler looked really good. His range control , his takedowns, and sweeps looked sharp.

Conor was getting mounted by Chad Mendez in 2015.
