Williams would catch a beat down by Floyd.
(Willy is a walking punching bag, easy fight for May.)

I don't see any difference between this old Williams that beat so and so and new Williams other then one big punch from a hard hitting lefty.

    Hell no.

Quintana and Lara countered him to death. Pw fights small. If he fought tall, he would but that's just not him. Pac is as fast or faster than Floyd with amazing footspeed and power.

Lol at all these people saying, "if Pw fights tall, etc". He is what he is. A guy who has never fought tall and is a walking punching bag. Floyd kills Pw.

ya i dont see how anyone can say that. this is the same guy (with the same trainer) who after getting starched said they weren't going to change anything at all and that martinez just hit him with a lucky punch. Then he got hit with the same punch about a million times from lara who just doesnt hit as hard. Floyd would figure him out real quick and have his way with him. Paul at his best was a gem to watch, now hes slurring his speech and clearly not the fighter he once was. He's in the group of people like taylor who needs to hang it up before something really bad happens, or honestly just before he takes anymore punches.

Bump. The Mayweather that fought last night would have tons of problems vs a swarming relentless, holding and hitting PW.

No cant see it,dont get me wrong I think Williams is a good fighter but I think he would turn up already beaten also I dont think he is really over the ko by Martinez and as soon as he got stunned by Floyd he would shut up shop and just try to see out the 12 rounds.

See this is where you're wrong.

When has Paul ever taken a step backwards? He fights full steam ahead whether he is up on the cards, or hurt. Look at the Lara fight. He walked through everything Lara was throwing, and kept coming forward.

That is the one reason Floyd will have a tough fight with him. He will not stop coming forward for 12 full rounds. I'm not saying he beats Floyd, but Floyd would have to keep him off his ass for 12 full rounds. 100 punches no matter what.

Thats how I see it too. If Lara couldn't back him up, I don't see a lighter Mayweather keeping him off as well, and at 35 he's going to have a harder going than against Castillo.

This would be the fight that win or lose, Mayweather would retire.
