Pavlik looked great last night and Mora talked about moving back to 160 after beating Forrest.

Now that Mora has legitimate credentials to go along with his TV fame, does a Pavlik vs. Mora for the middleweight title become a big American fight event? Pavlik has his growing base of fans and Mora has all the Contender TV fans. Mora may even make it competitive for a few rounds.

I think it is a way for Pavlik to get a big payday as well, and increase his cross over appeal. Mora is a big draw with non traditional boxing fans.

Pavlik would destroy Mora. And I mean DESTROY.

Pavlik won't give up his jab and let Mora throw those inside punches. He'd maintain his height and reach and he'd plaster Mora with hard right hands. I'd say this goes about 2 rounds max. Maybe even a first round destruction.

Yes ... Mora's a big LMW ... and a small MW ... it would be legit ... and i'm sure that Mora has a decent following on the west coast ...

I'm sure that he has some bandwagon jumpers now that he won against Forrest.

    He is still undefeated ...

He does have a good promotional team behind him ... if he wouldve beat Ayala he wouldve fought Pavlik anyway.

He needs a couple more fights under his belt ...

It's not because Mora beat an aging Forest that he's now the next best thing after sliced cheese. He's fast, he's akward but he's not precise. He doesn't have a big punch either. I see a few that can beat him at 154.. he should concentrate on that.

I think people would watch it to see Sergio get his ass kicked

Every time Forrest threw a jab and straight right behind it, it landed. I have no clue why Forrest stopped doing it. We all know Pavlik has one of the best one-two's at this weight class. Combine that with his power. Mora wouldnt last 3 rounds.

He has leverage now ... he won a major world title belt ... he won the first contender series ... he undefeated ... and he's a natural MW.

I think he should vacate that belt ... and challenge Pavlik ... it would be a good fight to throw on Pavlik's resume -- another undefeated fighter on his resume.

Pavlik has the chance to have a few undefeated fighters under on his resume ... Mora, Taylor, Duddy, Abraham, and Lorenzo ...

add to that Wright, Sturm, and Andy Lee ...

I also thought forrest's shoulder bothered him...but that's stupid to even mention because the guy's had multiple sugeries on it so of course it'll never be the same. He was clearly outclassing him in the first 3 rounds then he slowed down and aloowed mora to get inside.

Anyway, a Pavlik/mora fight would be a pointless step down for Pav since he has alot more meaningful fights at middleweight and so forth.

Now if mora was to move up to middle. and beat some wbc contenders, thats another story. But right now, he's only a formidable jnr. middle with a close win over an aging champ.

:thumbsup If Pavlik wants a tune-up fight before Abraham, Calzaghe or Kessler, this would be the one.

Pavlik is too big and strong for Mora. The Latin Snake would be brutally KOed. He should stay at 154.

If he wouldnt fight Taylor then why on earth would he fight Pavlik. Id rather see him embarrass Oscar
