Would PBF draw 51K to a stadium vs a Clottey-level name in somewhere like Dallas?

 I started this thread yesterday just before I logged off just to see how many idiots would get all angry and defensive - and lo and behold I return today to see 11 pages of tit-for-tat fanboy bull****. When I start a real boxing thread on this forum, it dodges around for a couple of hours then disappears amidst all the bitchfighting crap, then when you start a pile of shite designed to irritate people like this one, it catches fire. This place sucks.

Because that would be even more boring and shite than this one was. What a loser.

If you know anything about basic supply and demand you know it depends on ticket prices

Too right he don't. I can't see Pac degrading himself like this for a few dollars.

You know the Big show is an actor right? WWE wrestlers are actors. Guess what. Floyd is an actor going against a real Fighter like Pacquiao.

Which is why FLoyd don't want to fight Pac. He knows Pac will knock him the **** out.

the stadium itself was a drawing force and the fact that it was a major fight in Dallas was also a big thing so i mean credit to Pac but i thik there was a lot of factors into those numbers.

It's not a guarantee...but he does do impressive numbers via PPV, so if people got the chance to see him in a stadium...maybe.

This is the most sensible response.

It was a major fight in Dallas.
It was in the New Texas Stadium.
It was right on the heels of the failed Pac-May negotiations.
    Many tickets were given away.
    The tickets were very cheap.

If Floyd had fought the same weekend in Atlanta or Washington(DC) or Chicago under the same circumstances, he would do those numbers and more

I love this response. Way to backtrack out of getting nailed. It almost works.

Guys talk about how Floyd is taking advantage of other people's drawing power and that's plain old BS. All these guys are doubling their previous PPV records when they fight floyd. If there were such big draws they would have done these types of numbers before fighting him. Anyone that thinks that floyd doesn't have anything to do with the numbers is delusional.

His fight with marquez did more than twice as many buys as Manny's 2nd fight with Marquez and also brought in Closed Ciruit revenue that Manny's fight didn't bring in.

Whether people like him or not, they tune in when floyd gets in the ring.
