Had he put Heat on Oscar, that means he has to throw more than 25 punches a round, stay in front of his man and risk getting decapitated by the left hook. That is why many picked Oscar to win by KO, cuz many felt FLoyd would show heart in this fight and try to make a statment...but he didn't.Even Floyd knows this and would admit to it.
You've obviously haven't watched enough Floyd Mayweather fights to say something as outlandish as that...he would nullify Oscar's reach and stay in his chest...you gotta be kidding he didn't do it the first fight because he didn't have to Oscar never really hit him with anything to make him change the way he had to fight him.
Ive been watching Floyd since him and VArgas came out of the olympics. I actually like Floyd and give him credit where it is due, most especially in the underated "toughness" department but to say what you did :rofl :rofl Nullify Oscars reach with what?...Stay in his chest?!! I forgot when FLoyd gets hit with something good he goes to war chest to chest:smooch ...dont bring up Castillo fight, because Floyd didn't have legs after CAstillo took them courtesy of those body punches so he had no choice but to stay chest to chest.
Did you turn the t.v. off when they announced him as the winner by split decision (b.s. he won clearly) and gave him Oscar's belt i mean thats what i saw
No...he goes to war pocket and shoulder roll to chest...Corley...Castillo...Hatton...Ndou...Augustus that's how he fights period...Castillo never slowed Floyd down in that first fight Floyd adjusted to an injury and beat Castillo the way he saw fit and came away once again with a victory...oh but when has Floyd really been hit with something good...and to answer that yea he does go to war that's why he retired undefeated he may not slug it out but you can't deny that he's a winner if you do then your in denial.
Floyd vs Oscar was like Calzaghe vs Hopkins. Both won close decisions against a shot version of their opponent, and both would lose to a prime one.
Does everything on here have to be put litterally for you? atsch Benefit of the doubt is always to the champ who was Oscar that night. Floyd didn't do anything spectacular to win clear cut rounds in my eyes. So how are you supposed to challenge a champion and convince the judges your better than the champ;by moving away and throwing a pot shot here and there? cmon PRO dont be shmuck.
I'm not being a shmuck fam im stating the facts...you know what happen this ain't make believe...what did Oscar hit Floyd with a few jabs...where was the right hand....where was the left hook....i seen Floyd landing sharp clean crisp punches and i seen Delahoya swinging like a girl...jus stating facts. Delahoya doesn't get the benefit when you put on a Christy Martin performance against the reigning P4p champ at that time and he went up in weight and fought under all of Oscar's stipulations.
Oscar showed that his combination punching would be to much for Floyd. the guys you named above didn't and wouldn't have the handspeed of a prime Oscar. I could remember times when Zab hit him with good punches(knockdown that wasn't counted) and Corley hurting him but not knowing how to have a killer instinct to react to it. Floyd is a winner and a great boxer but will never have the heart of a true fighter like Mosley,Vargas,DLH,Trinidad and Pacquaio who all dared to be great.
I would even fight under all of Oscar's rules just to seal a fight with him for all that money. And to have oscar not fighting like a man ,shouldn't have floyd dominated and put up a hell of a performance? I do give Floyd a lil cred for trading in the last 7 secs. of the fight though :-( .
Nothing stupid about it. I love how Oscarsexuals love to leave out the fact that PBF beat Oscar on his terms at a weight he had no business at when it's convenient. The fact is PBF is a greater boxer than Oscar period and proved it when the two met. A prime Oscar doesn't do anything different against PBF. He still won't be able to hit him clean with power shots and he'll still get countered. Not to mention he can't outbox PBF either. PBF is simply the superior boxer and will be remembered as such historically and that fact keeps still keeps Oscarsexuals like yourself up at night. :hi:
