Not a chance, and I think even now if DLH stuck to his jab he would beat Floyd.

    Morons ?
I had Oscar winning the fight, you can see my scorecards :
    Round 1 : PBF
    Round 2 : DLH
    Round 3 : DLH
    Round 4 : DLH
    Round 5 : PBF
    Round 6 : draw
    Round 7 : DLH
    Round 8 : PBF
    Round 9 : DLH
    Round 10 : PBF
    Round 11 : PBF
    Round 12 : DLH

    115-114 pour DLH.

And I had Whitaker winning the Chavez fight (no need for my scorecards though, I had Pernell winning 9-3).

And I think, as well as everyone on this forum, I have the right to do whatever I want to and the right to give my opinions on a (public) forum.
Generally, I don't give a damn about fools like you but your post was just at the limit of the mental ******ation.

How could you give 3 of the first 4 rounds to Oscar? Secondly how could you give any round past round 7 to Oscar? He was sluggish, getting worked and potshoted in the middle of the ring at will, and stopped throwing any semblence of a jab, which contrary to popular opinion was never used effectively in the fight anyway. I can see you giving him round 12, but by then the fight was already over. Mayweather won the final 4-5 rounds pretty handedly.

You urgently need to review the fight.

I think Oscar could have beaten him at 147 or 154

I don't know where people get this idea that Oscar didn't fade in matches earlier in his career. Oscar has always been an 8 round fighter.

Floyd would have beat him, at any weight. Why do you think Mayweather was in such a hurry to go up in weight????? He was chasing Oscar because he knew he would beat him. The only thing the fight at 154 pounds proved to me was, that Oscar could have been knocked out by Floyd at the lighter weights.

On the flip side, Oscar was avoiding Mayweather, just like Mosley was avoiding Mayweather, for quite some time. Mayweather was handled by Oscar and Mosley in the same way a lot of people hate about Mayweather's decisions now, "high risk, low reward," so they didn't fight him. To be honest, I think that is where Mayweather learned that negotiation style. After being denied by Mosley and Oscar so much over the years, I think it made him a little bitter when it comes to giving other guys a shot... after all, it was such a pain in the ass for Mayweather to get Oscar to fight him, shouldn't it be just as hard for others to fight him now?

Fact is, Mayweather started calling out Oscar and Mosley in 2000 for a reason.

Excellent post. People always forget that PBF had been chasing Oscar and Mosley for years but they wouldn't give him the time of day. He knew they were flawed fighters and he could easily exploit the holes in their game.

The thing is nobody really rates Floyd at 147 because he didnt spend much time there to show us what he could do at that weight. But I suspect he could have been pretty ****in good. The Floyd that fought Gatti beats prime DLH and most good welters I say.

there's a very big chance he could beat him actually, I watched the fight again before and saw that oscar didn't really lose because he was slowing down or anything like that, it was the style, Oscar had floyd on the ropes many times and let his hands go and landed absolutely nothing, you could see the frustration at the end of the rounds as he tries to keep on fighting, oscar could break through the defence on more than one occasion per round and it was more tactical than anything, mayweather took away his jab and really prepared very well and practically knew what oscar was gonna do before he done it

It's highly doubtful he'd beat the DLH lost lost to Shane in their first fight. I highly doubt those picking Mayweather even saw DLH then.

We're talking DLH at his best @ 147. Not the old (but good, but NO WAY PRIME) version who Mayweather beat. DLH doesn't fight with the same style as he used to.
