Well since neither man has the crossover appeal of DLH or the world wide poularity this fight does 800k Hatton MW were both undefeated let me know how close they got to 1million ..I think your over estimating their drawing power !!

I see you have a new york giants avy...

so are you from new york?

then you should know the drawing power of cotto in the tri state area.... cotto single handedly sold out the garden twice

msg has a maximum capacity of 25k more or less
the new yankee stadium max capaticity is 60k

if cotto could sell out msg with zab judah

floyd would have to atleast garner 25000 more people...

i have family in nyc and i would make sure that

me and my 4 cousins go, plus 4 of my freinds from miami
plus my dad and 2 brothers go up ....

and im pretty sure everyone that has some family in nyc would do the same as well... trust me... it WOULD BE that kind of event... undeniably

your under - rating the power of the latino community

No I stated before no one will out buy the cotto fans in the bronx outside the luxary boxes but im talking PPV if Hatton MW only did 800 PPV buys I don't see how Cotto /MW does 1 mil ..

Floyd simply doesn't have the extra fan base to push it over the 1million mark .And so you know MW /Hatton live gate produced 47 mil in revenue from what I read so I would be curious to see what a Cotto MW fight would do ..And im latin so I know how we support boxing

800 k would be more reasonable ..Unless either guy had Oscar's appeal no way does it do a mil imo .

im saying though..... it would be heavily hyped... more hyped than hatton vs floyd and it would be more realistic than hatton vs floyd because there would be an actual threat... and the luxury boxes will get bought out by celebrities anyways because new york city is as high traffic as vegas...

your under estimating floyd as well.... it would surpass hatton vs floyd so its at worse doing 800k.. itll be way more heavily hyped

    i see 1 mill easily

The thing is though Cotto doesn't have a Trinidad type of following this is why imo it won't break a mil ..Hell Tito vs Jones did 500k and he hasn't been relevant in several yrs ..800 k is more realistic ..

why because im a boxing fan?

I used to get ribbed all the time for supporting Cotto before and after the Margie loss.....anyways there was nothing peronal meant.

I know Cotto and it will be a different fight this time around.

Cotto picked up many more fans and popularity after his loss against Margie. I've also seen a big change in Cotto since then as well.

Very confident and eager to get back in the ring with Margie.

And many more fans to boot.
