Ali was up on all score cards when he stopped Bonavena with 3 kd's
Frazier was down on 1 card,up by 2 rds on another and up by just 1 round on the other. He was also floored twice.
All your spin aside, there is no comparison!

People thought Ali could keep Joe off with his far superior reach, ultimately that didn't work out too well for him.

FOTC Frazier was far too relentless...beyond Duran-level driven. I think (as strange as this may sound) the early Lewis would have a far better result, as he would come out more in a Foreman take-no-prisoners mode. The Steward Lewis's cautiousness would get him stopped before the 7th round imo.

I don't subscribe to it myself but it's an intruiging theory.

Not to mention Ali got a stoppage while Frazier was on the verge of a stoppage loss himself.
