Floyd will be quicker we know that. Shane is stronger on the inside and has quicker hands than most guys Floyd has fought,so the punches he will have is bodypunching, which he hope will lower Floyd's hands. That is the key for Shane. If round 6 comes along and he has not worked Floyd's body well the fight is all Floyds. Shane will not win with boxing.

He has to go buck wild on him. He can't do what he did with Cotto. He has to step on the gas for this one. Mayweather will certainly do what he always does, fight backwards. So, Shane better be ready to go 12 rounds with him.

I agree thats what im banking on for a Mosley win.

When Mayweather gets to the ropes and does his shoulder roll thats a perfect opportunity for Mosley to break the body down.

    Nope.

It is too damn hard to land a cleam body shot against Floyd.

The key to Mosley's win will be his long jabs, thrown 3 to 4 times at a time. Floyd can duck and bend but he has to surface back after sometime so by the time he does, the 3rd jab or 4th jab will catch him.

Agreed to have a great chance Shane needs to use an authoritive jab.

Body, head, chest, etc. Mosely needs to fight Void like Pac would have done, that's why Void ran from Pac.

Nope, the key will be hand speed, Mosley still has good hand speed especially with his arm shots, if he can match PBF's Handspeed or even be quicker things will get very interesting. I don't think Floyd will just be able to pot shot.

it all depends on what fight plan nazim has for mosley and how long mosley sticks with it. if he tries to open up on PBF like he did margarito floyd will land many pot shots and counters, attacking floyd like that is playing to his strengths. I believe mosley will spend the majority of the fight on the inside working the body, clinching and making floyd use his energy trying to escape the clinches.

anyways floyd by close but clear UD.

Floyd bends below the waistline a lot, I hope the ref controls this.

From the outside he will use his own jab to the body when it is available. But he will mostly use his right hand to the body to set up the head shot. This will also occupy PBF and make him defensive and not as prone to throw leads with it. Because he will be thinking about defending with it.

On the ropes and in the inside it will be his left hook.

But in my eyes the key to winning this fight isn't any one punch or head vs. body argument.

It is CONSTANTLY being mindful of distance and keeping PBF at the right distance. I believe Naz and Shane want (and I agree) to keep PBF at the end of Shane's reach when the fight is in the middle of the ring.

Shane won't be following PBF around and he won't be cutting the ring off traditionally. He will be using his good footspeed to give lateral movement to the shorter in reach and height counterpuncher, who prefers guys to come to him. Shane and Naz believe they can close distance on PBF when they want so the key is not letting PBF easily time Shane.

Those who believe this fight is in the bag for PBF often site Shane having bad legs. If they are correct then PBF will win easy.

But if I am correct and Shane's legs are good, PBF is in trouble.

it is illegal in both amateur and pros but it isn't enforced in the pros. You will see the ref sometimes tell a fighter to raise his head above the waistline but nothing more than that.

I have never seen even a real warning for it in the pros.

But in Ams they get on you a lot for it and will stop the action to warn you and will take points from you too.
