Would people start to rate GGG higher than Floyd if he knocks out Canelo?

Floyd was not known a puncher and GGG is a middleweight so he should hit harder.

    Nope.

Triangle theory doesn't mean much in boxing. The Canelo win for Mayweather is seen as a pre prime Canelo but also a post prime Floyd fighting above his best weight. Add in the catchweight and the win is a very good one but not one of his A level wins.

Floyd's best probably goes in order of:

    Castillo II
    Oscar
    Cotto
    Pacqiauo
    Corrales
    Mosley
    Marquez/Canelo
    Maidana
    Hernandez

Pacquaio may be seen as better down the line but for now it's still pretty much a bad memory for most boxing fans.

Golovkin is (if he beats Canelo)

    Canelo
    Jacobs
    Brook
    Lemieux
    Murray
    Geale

It's not even close mattered of how he defeats Canelo tbh.

I’m a GGG fan. I respect Floyd as a boxer but was never a fan of his. That being said...

    NO.

Nah, plus if he was gonna KO Canelo it would have been in the first fight.
I stand by the fact that Golovkin is going to be outboxed in this fight and he knows it too. Thats why there was no real fight behind the scene about a rematch. The question is,"Will Canelo give the other 160 guys a chance when he gets the titles?"

Foreman kos Frazier n norton, Ali cant,
It dosnt make foreman greater than Ali.
    So no.
I'd rate corrales as fmj best win. IMO.

Until now Floyd shut out Canelo while GGG only got a draw (close points win for GGG).

Nah. Canelo is now past prime, and has alot of wear and tear from his 50 pro fight career.. Floyd beat him at his peak!! Brahahaha
