Just seen the thread about how Floyd would do with Whitaker's resume, so though I'd do a reverse thread. What do you think?

Yes probably. Whitaker is a nightmare to anyone in history so of course he would go through Mayweathers resume undefeated, but in my opinion Mayweather is a better boxer

    He would easily.

Maybe he loses to Canelo but that's just cause he's a bit smaller than Floyd.

Yes, providing he doesn't get any disgusting robberies against him like he did in his own resume.

would mayweather go through pernells record undefeated? guys like Buddy McGirt, prime trinidad and de-la hoya would potentially beat him.

Cotto would be a tough fight for a 35 year old Whitaker. I doubt he goes through undefeated TBH

Hard to say really, he could well do because his style would be a nightmare to most.

    Maybe.
You never know for sure, because you can always lose against a guy you should beat (bad night, robbery, injury, bad style matchup).
He should have based on his skillset, but he also diminished on an earlier age.

I think the Cas 1 Floyd fought would be a good scrap and any 154lb fight could be good scraps....other than that he gets through unscathed

This. Of course, he became "shot" fighter at younger age than Floyd. But if you consider prime or close to prime Whitaker, he defeats all Floyds opponents. Some of them would be tougher fights for him, some - easier compared to Floyd because of styles.

For example I see Whitaker defeating Castilllo like 119-109 in both fights. I cant see how Castillo can trouble him (TBH, Floyd also won 2nd fight clearly, I scored it 117-111 for Floyd)

Motivated Zab would probably give him a hard time. Good speed , good movement , southpaw . Zab aint got to worry about getting caught and knocked out either. Pernell still beats him on points though . Yeah he pretty much beats anyone on Floyd's resume . When it comes to Canelo , lets just see how he performs come fight night
