Would today's division be Archie Moore's playground or how would he do?

If we’re going to place him in today’s division then we have to give him the benefits of today’s standards...

    - full amateur career
    - luxury of training full time
    - not having to fight ten times per year and being allowed recovery periods between fights
    - 12 round title bouts
    - 16 oz gloves
    - modern nutrition standards
    - fully equipped gym - trainers included

CONCLUSION: yes I think he’d beat The best light heavyweights and cruiserweights. Not sure about Usyk but then again he’s not fighting at cruiser anymore.

Yes. He'd only lose to Usyk, who now at HW.

Yes , he would. He fought better fighters on his way to the championship than the "Champions " of today are. He would dominate today's Lt.Heavys and cruiserweight, and have a very good chance against today's heavyweight champions in spite of his severe size disadvantages, simply because Moore's skill level would've been so much more on a higher skill level than 2days heavyweights.

In theory yes. Technically his upbringing would be a lot softer today, not sure how that would play out. Didn't he turn pro & then fought as an amateur briefly?

Would he have done the same and turned pro without am experience?

Moore against the likes of Beterbiev briefly Canelo ect. Archie would hold all the belts at 175. Who are even the cruiserweight champions today? Recently guys like Lebedev Gassiev Breidis. Yea He'd be champ at 200 if he wanted too also.

Moore beat one great light heavy Johnson, and a couple of very good ones in Maxim and Satterfield.
I think he would be champ but dominate? Not so sure about that.

Moore would've beaten the hell out of the relatively novice Usyk. Hell, quite a few of Moore's opponents wouldve beaten the hell out of him also. It would be true professional fighters that had been around and active enough to have learned every trick in the book against Usyk who's best win is........... Who? That's right nobody. He like Lomencheko is severely overrated by some of the posters on this site.

Archie Moore's peak years, physically, were probably when he was a middleweight. Those years, when he was fighting Burley and Eddie Booker and such, were also when he learned the lessons that enabled him to beat bigger, slower guys well into his 40s.
There is not one guy fighting today that could have the boxing brain that Archie Moore had.

Not that this adds anything to what you have said, but I've watched a lot of Moore film again and again over the years, and I agree with you 100 percent.
