the reason being he’s 5’11? His height/reach is an issue.

    He's Schrödinger's boxer:
His weirdo hipster fanboys think he's big and strong enough to knock out the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, but too small to fight at cruiser and heavyweight, ironically.
He maybe short, but he's not a little guy. He fought at heavyweight (92 kgs/ 202.8 lbs) when he was a younger, slimmer man, and he's gotten bigger since then. I mean, look at this thread. At least 6 people think he can beat a top 5 heavyweight.
I think he probably could have had a good run at cruiser, but decided the easier work was at 175.

We just do not know. We don't know if Parker can sustain his 267 lb frame over 12 rounds.

If Parker catches Beterbiev early, its over.

If Beterbiev can survive first 5 rounds, he could wear down the overly heavy version of Parker.

My money is on Parker by stoppage.

That being said, i do believe a peak 35 year old Beterbiev could give peak 34 year old Joshua version of Usyk a very hard fight. But that has more to do with styles. Stylistically, Beterbiev matches up very well vs Usyk.

Stylistically, i don't think Beterbiev matches up very well vs bigger hitting heavyweights.

We will never know because he never went up and tested himself even at cruiser.

Upon a rethink of my previous opinion, Parker kills him. Possibly in the literal sense of the word.

he did knock down Usyk in the amateurs. With a body shot. I believe they fought 3x, Usyk won 2 of them.

Then why won't he do it now?

So one of the LHW elites of this era, who is all of 5'11", should bulk up to hit over 200lbs to fight at heavyweight? Why? This makes no sense. He's not a natural heavyweight.

No it's not. It's about prime Beterbiev. He's no longer prime. So he cannot now complete the hypothetical you raise.

He wouldn't even is his prime. Beterbiev is a natural cruiserweight who fights at 175 and has to rabbit punch every fight to win. He's held to some mystical level, like he's the best to ever do it. They way they talk about him on here and places like Twitter is bizarre. He's got the weirdest fanboys. Beterbiev is the hipster gatekeeper boxer in a hipster gatekeeper division. He should have moved up to cruiserweight instead of sticking around at 175. The same way the UFC fanboys over Dagestanis, boxing "elitists" do they same with Beterbiev. I think it actually is runoff influence from the UFC.

I think Beterbiev's power will not land anywhere near as heavy in heavyweight as it does in light heavy, and without that a lot Beterbiev's strategy and route to victory goes out the window.

Parker’s size takes its toll and he stops Beterbiev on his feet at around the 6-7th round. (Primes: This current version of Parker and Beterbiev of around the Gvozdyk fight not cutting down)

Beterbiev with his 175 lbs against Parker's 267 lbs, I don't see Beterbiev being a threat to him...
