    Ruiz rips off joes head.

though realistically joe would never contemplate getting in the ring with him - though he would probably say yaddaaddaItried togetafightwithruizbuthesscaredoffme in that opposite lie way he does.

joe never had the ***** and skills of say roy jonesor toney.

No Joe Calzaghe did not have enough in his gloves to stop Ruiz walking through anything and closing him down. Way way faster obviously but Joes speed with a jab or combo halted attacks against him, wouldnt work with a big meaty heavyweight unless you really carried some power to make them think.

Though as amazing as RJJ was stepping up to face a heavyweight looks better on paper than the reality of what it was and who he faced at the time. Was more of a circus act than a real sporting occasion.

To be fair I've seen Calzaghe fans on here say that Joe would KO Marvin Hagler in the first round, do to Michael Spinks what he did to Jeff Lacy and even outpoint Evander Holyfield (yes seriously). So picking Joe to beat Ruiz is actually pretty tame by the mentally ill, Calzaghe nuthuggers standards.

Yes. It might have been harder because Joe doesn't do PEDs like Roy does.
