He would definitely beat the brakes off that bum "title holder" Wilder.

He'd beat this version of Chagaev, and likely topple Wilder in 3-4 rds.

    So.....answer is a definitive yes.:good

He wouldn't touch be able to touch Vlad, so number 2 is about as high as he'd get.

I agree. Think I will make a poll to see what the general public think on that individual match up.

He could certainly win a title, but he wouldnt beat Wlad. Easlily would be one of the top 3 or 4 fighters today though.

He'd beat Wilder but be an underdog to Povetkin.

    Why???

Potvetkin hasnt showed he can beat a guy like Bruno. Closest he got was to Takam, who is similar but not nearly as fluid as Bruno.

Bruno would likely survive an early Potvetkin onslaught and drop Sasha a couple time en route to a decision.:think

    Absolutely!!
He outboxed Lennox for 5 or 6 rounds, he did ok v Tyson in their first fight, beat Oliver McCall................and Deontay Wilder is the WBC Champ. Bruno would have beaten him.
I think he'd have been a very live underdog v Wladimir too, but his gas tank may ultimately let him down here.

Well, he'd beat Wilder, but Wilder's very lucky to have a belt. I think Povetkin would KO Bruno, so I voted no. Interesting thread though.

He wouldn't beat Wlad but he would beat Wilder and Chagaev.

He'd also be a cash cow in the division as the current heavyweight scene in terms of money is not as lucrative as it was once before, only Povetkin and Wlad really make decent money now and Bruno would be up there with a big UK fan base. During his time he was more popular than Hatton or Haye he was a national treasure. That kind of financial pull would see him in more advantageous situations during his career and have a longer reign than he did as he wouldn't be forced into an immediate fight against someone like Tyson and could have a few easy defences.
