Would prime Frank Bruno had done better against Usyk than Joshua did?

Usyk better than Witherspoon at Heavyweight ? Debatable. Certainly better than the fat overweight version who fought Bruno. But better than the version of Witherspoon who almost beat an ATG in Larry Holmes ? I'm not sure about that. Usyk hasn't proven himself enough at Heavyweight for me to confidently say he's better than Witherspoon. A prime Witherspoon would beat Joshua and Chisora pretty handily.

Not for me. Spoon had good skills but not on the level of Usyk and Joshua would beat most versions of Spoon. Never been in the Holmes fan club either. Dominated a domestic era bereft of stars.

Spoon has other attributes though which make him just as formidable like good defence, good jab, legit one punch power in his overhand right to turn a fight around something Usyk hasn't got.

I think a prime Witherspoon would be a very tough assignment for Usyk, I'm still not quite as sold on Usyk at Heavyweight as everyone else seems to be. Hes done good so far don't get me wrong, but I want to see him vs other top Heavyweights first.

Okay but if he beats Fury fair and square there is little doubt he'd look after any version of even Holmes. Current Fury is above anyone Holmes beat on the night

If he beats Fury he certainly goes way up in my estimation, he would've beaten the best Super Heavyweight since Lennox Lewis.
