I'd have to favor him over both of them, really, and I'm no big Juan Diaz fan (I like him more than I dislike him, I suppose).

That said, I'd be tempted to pick Uchiyama even conceding the 5 pounds over all of them.

Yeah. Besides the poll, I think there are probably several that will box Juan's ears off.

Surprised about the amount of people who think Vazquez would have beat him.

Think he outboxes both, guy was a beast. Burns has a better chance than Vasquez.

Baby Bull was one of my favorites he would def be one of the top three lightweights today.Broner if he returns to lightweight would beat him similar to the way Campbell beat him but worse and would most likely stop him late, Vazquez has a tricky style that gives anyone hell but i dont think he has enough pop to keep Baby Bull off of him, Abril is another guy with a difficult style who could cause some problems but i would favor Baby Bull with his relentless pressure and his rapid fire combinations to the body to beat him, Burns is overrated i think Diaz would beat him without much bother, then theres Gamboa who i still need to see how he adapts to 135 if hes able to maintain his speed, some of his power and his chin holds up he has the skills to beat anyone at 135 and that includes Broner and prime Baby Bull.

For sure. He just ran into an ATG who pretty much ruined him

do you think he can come back? he looked good in his return bout albeit vs less than stellar opposition but better than what you'd expecgt for someone coming out of retirement.

I didn't realize Nate Campbell was an all time great...........

In any case, yes, considering Broner has left 135, a prime Diaz would be the best lightweight in the world right now. Which ain't sayin much, 135 is a **** division.

Actually, on second thought, I could see Vasquez outboxing a prime Diaz.

Diaz would have beaten Burns though.

    Abril and Vazquez beat him.

And let's not forget he lost to an old underdog Campbell, never fought Guzman or Funeka.

BTW what's with this poll? No Richar Abril? He's the best LW right now. Abril beating Rios, Lundy, Prescott, Acosta and Bogere>Anything Vazquez and Burns have done.

Let's face it, Abril got jobbed in the fights against Rios, Lundy and Prescott. Should be 21-0.
